Process Group

Process Group is a leading supplier of process systems & complete process trains for a range of process industries, including:

  • oil and gas production;
  • oil refining and petrochemical;
  • power generation;
  • coal seam methane production;
  • industrial gas processing;
  • greenhouse gas abatement; and,
  • general industrial.

Founded in 1978, Process Group's continued success is based on demonstrated excellence in all aspects of project execution. Process Group’s technical staff posses a wide range of specialist disciplines with a long history in their respective fields, providing significant depth to the organisation’s skills and capabilities.

Process Groups’ technologies and capabilities include:

  • gas dehydration systems;
  • gas sweetening systems;
  • dew point control systems;
  • carbon capture and geosequestration;
  • oil/water/gas separators;
  • gas turbine fuel gas conditioning systems;
  • hydrocyclones and water treatment systems; and,
  • gas/solids removal and handling systems.

Process Group has been a supporting partner of the CO2CRC since the research centre’s inception. Process Group provides expertise in the design and construction of some pilot plants and industrial equipment for the CO2CRC’s activities.

Process Group has supplied design know-how and equipment for several projects including:

  • Otway Project gas processing plant and compressor;
  • 18,250 tonnes/annum carbon capture and mineral sequestration plant for the Hazelwood Power Station; and,
  • Various pilot scale carbon capture pants demonstrating new CO2CRC capture technologies including membrane separation, zeolite adsorption, and solvent absorption.
