CCS world projects: Wandoan

The Wandoan project involves a consortium of companies proposing an Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle power plant northwest of Brisbane. The project would have a net capacity of 334 Mega Watts Equivalent (MWe) and be operational by 2015/16. It aims to capture 90% of its emissions and store up to 2.5 mega tonnes of CO2 per annum.
